Uma began by studying etching and sculpture at an art school in London, but, due to her love of fabric and jewellery, moved on to study theatrical millinery with Jane Smith. She completed her formal education in millinery at the Kensington and Chelsea College with Kirsten Scott, former milliner for Karl Lagerfeld at Chanel.
Uma then went on to work for two years with celebrity milliner Stephen Jones whose work is represented in the permanent collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Louvre, and who has collaborated with Vivienne Westwood, Jean-Paul Gaultier and John Galliano for Dior.
But now, from her studio in London, Uma is dedicated to creating bespoke pieces for weddings, the races and social occasions, working with clients to ensure each piece is as unique as it is astonishing.

You can view Uma’s collection or discuss your requirements mainly by appointment, please email or call using the information given below. Please note that orders can take between 2-3 weeks to produce depending on the requirements. It is also possible to order by email or telephone. Please allow an additional one week for delivery.
A deposit may be required at the ordering stage which will be deducted from the agreed purchase price of the product.

Orders within the UK include postage. For overseas orders, postage will be charged at actual depending on the destination, packaging and mode of shipment requested. Please note that for delivery outside of the EU, you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches your country.
